Northstar has the skill and experience to do everything from simple deadbolt and door knob installations to push button code locks, as well as many other commercial storefront locks.

Our journey

Northstar lock and door was started October 25th 1999. I started working has a locksmith in Marietta, Ga when I was working for a hotel as a night auditor. I worked 11: 00 p.m. to 7: 00 a.m. at the hotel, and then I worked as a locksmith from 9:00 am until about 6:00 pm. Needless to say I didn’t sleep much for the first year.

Finally about February of the next year I was able to stop working as a hotel auditor. To say that I was focused would be an understatement. Far from well-rested but definitely focused. That was 25 years ago.

One of the things that sets us apart from our competitors is that we treat our clients with speed. That is abnormal for the door industry and the locksmith industry. If we can’t get the job done immediately we can at least give you an exact idea as to when it’s going to happen. Unlike some we can give you an exact estimate an estimate that does not change after the job is completed. Commercial locks and doors seem as though they would be pretty straightforward, they’re not. Not a day goes by that someone does not call me looking for a standard size door.
